[The Judgement (Pinard)]

Strong

Strong piece of work. My only criticism is that the climax is too loud, I heard some pretty intense clipping after the 2 minute mark. As you say though, the piece is 7 years old, so I guess what's done is done.

An excellent piece, just a shame about the post production.

[The Insanity - Simple vs]

Dark

Very dark and atmospheric, I checked out the orchestral version also but preferred this stripped back presentation more. I do tend to prefer more minimal pieces.

Good use of background noises, the more metallic ones were reminiscent of Aphex Twin's Gwarek2. (And that's a compliment :) )

Smallest of small improvements would be to lengthen the length of the release on the envelope for the final notes being played in the celesta parts.
It works very well as it stands though.

Celesta I recorded in another program with some real samples, made a loop... can't change it now, and I'm way too lazy to remake the loop :)).

[The Forgotten Plains]

Real nice.

Gentle and calming whilst still retaining pace and structure. Grows nicely with a diverse range of sounds, textures and transition effects.

Only criticism is that some of the drawn out drone notes clash a tiny bit at times, maybe reconsider note choice?

As for your production aesthetic; I would say go ahead with this type of thing, though from what I have seen of the audio portal so far; It seems that hip-hop and dnb are favoured. If you want to be popular within the NG Audio portal, go for the DNB.
But If you want to be successful in the real world carry on doing what you want to be doing which from what I gather is this style. You do it well, so keep on going.

And I agree about the notes clashing, its because I did not really finish the song, I left a pad in which I would have removed if I finished the song entirely.

So far so good.

I am interested to see where you will take this next. Nice rhythms, it flows very well and I think that the gated synth at the end was a good choice.

Maybe consider turning down the flange on the bass when the other instruments kick in, maybe its the 80kbps encoding but it sounds like there is a little muddiness.

Nicely done.

Stayed fresh throughout, good use of dynamics and a nice full sound. Good production.

Only thing I could think of to improve would be to get a real guitarist in for the hook & solo But that's just nit-picking.
